On 25th July and 8th August, researchers from the Centre (Glenda Caldwell, Greg Hearn, Penny Williams, Stine Johansen, Melinda Laundon and Alan Burden) visited B & R Enclosures to conduct a survey with their employees and to facilitate an introductory cobotics workshop. The survey will provide insights into worker perceptions of new technology at work, including cobotics, to help inform our Human Robot Workforce research program’s specific topic areas.
The workshop included many of the staff who will be involved in our projects and provided an opportunity to priotitise and understand key challenges within the space. Thanks B & R for having us and for being so open with the team.
We are looking forward to sharing updates on these projects, linked to our Designing Socio-technical Robotic Systems program, as they progress.
