James Dwyer

James Dwyer is a QUT MPhil graduate from the BMW Group + QUT Design Academy where he explored advances in human-robot interactions. With a background in Industrial Design and Psychology, James tutors Industrial Design units looking at tangible interactions and is a Research Assistant in various QUT Design Lab projects related to transport and health. With a background in prototyping and coding, James has been involved in various high-profile projects, including the HEAL project and the creative team lead for the ARS Electronica Futurelab, which was a finalist in the 2018 IxDA Awards. James now looks to apply what he has learned from these experiences to new forms of prototyping in human-robot interaction and collaboration.
