Justin Botha

Justin Botha is currently a PhD candidate in the Australian Cobotics Centre and holds a scholarship funded by CSIRO’s Data61‘s Collaborative Intelligence (CINTEL) Future Science Platform. Justin is working on Project 3.7 – collaborative robot adoption across industries. His PhD project focuses on identifying barriers to Cobot adoption and identifying strategies to improve human-robotic interaction to catalyse Australia’s industrial transformation to industry 5.0. Justin has extensive experience in advanced manufacturing across a range of sectors. He has previously been an Executive of a leading Australian electrical manufacturing firm and is currently Managing Director of AgGility an AgTech startup.
