Manufacturing expert Shay Chalmers, led a panel discussion about the role of cobotics in sustainable manufacturing.
As part of QUT’s Sustainability Week, our expert panel talked about how advanced manufacturing (and in particular cobotics and associated technology) can lead to a more sustainable Manufacturing industry e.g. improved manufacturing processes resulting in energy savings, adoption of ‘circular’ manufacturing processes, reduction in reliance on global supply chains, less waste to landfill through process optimisation etc.
