“CSIRO’s Collaborative Intelligence Future Science Platform“.
Dr Claire Mason leads the Skills component of CSIRO’s Collaborative Intelligence (or CINTEL) Future Science Platform (which partners with the Australian Cobotics Centre). This Horizon 3 CSIRO wide research programme focuses on the science of human-AI collaboration. Our definition of collaborative intelligence encompasses both cyberphysical (e.g., cobots) and virtual (e.g., generative AI) collaborative AI systems. Claire will provide an overview of some of the use cases for collaborative intelligence at CSIRO and then share findings from the Skills team, which has been exploring what competencies workers need to collaborate effectively with AI systems.
