Stine S. Johansen

Stine was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Human-Robot Interaction at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) from May 2022 until December 2024. Her main research interests are in the areas of human-computer interaction (HCI), interaction design, and design methods. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2021 at Aalborg University, Denmark. She has published in leading HCI outlets such as Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction (TOCHI), the Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI), the Conference on Designing Interactive Systems (DIS), and the IFIP Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (INTERACT).

Prior to starting with the Australian Cobotics Centre, Stine completed her PhD in Human- Computer Interaction at Aalborg University, Denmark. She has an interest in interaction design and design methods.

Areas of interest: Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human-Robot Interaction, Theories and Methods of Design, Tangible and Embodied Design, Sound

Stine left QUT to take up an ongoing academic role at Aalborg University.
