Parliamentary inquiry report into advanced manufacturing in Australia

Support from the Government through its policies and programs is vital for Australian manufacturing. Last year Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Dr Melinda Laundon led our Centre’s submission to the Australian Government Inquiry into Advanced Manufacturing in Australia.

As a result of this submission, our Centre was invited to give evidence at the Public Hearing in Brisbane and hosted a Committee visit to our industry partner, ARM Hub (Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing).

In this article, Melinda talks about the recommendations that came out of the report and highlights where the Centre’s recommendations were cited.
